Vol. 546 No. 4

Written Answers. - Digital Terrestrial Television.

Michael Bell

Question:

40 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the amount paid in fees or expenses to each consultant arising from plans for the introduction of digital terrestrial television; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [31809/01]

Fees totalling £1.6759 million plus VAT, along with expenses totalling £80,006, have been paid to the AIB corporate finance consortium which has been engaged to provide advice and assistance to my Department in relation to the digital terrestrial television project. RTE has separately engaged its own advisers.
