137 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding the provision of the proposed new Garda station at Leixlip, County Kildare; the extent to which agreement has been reached with all other agencies involved; when it is expected the project will go to tender; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Negotiations are still ongoing with the vendor for the purchase of the site at Leixlip. Until these have been concluded, it is not possible to give a timetable for the construction of the new Garda station.
