Bernard Allen

Question:

188 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the level of funding which was made available to Cork Corporation in 2000, 2001 and 2002 for non-national roads. [32344/01]

Cork Corporation's non-national road grant payment for 2000 was £3,352,000, 4,256,162, and the grant allocation to the Corporation for 2001 was £4,235,000, 5,377,341, an increase of 26% on the payment figure for 2000. I will be announcing details of the 2002 non-national road grant allocations early in the new year.
