Question:194 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will provide funding to Mallow Urban District Council, County Cork, for improvement works to Willis Flats, Mallow. [32277/01]

I understand that Mallow Urban District Council is considering the possibility of involving the private sector by way of a PPP arrangement to regenerate these flats. In this regard the council intends to seek funding from my Department for a feasibility study. On receipt of the council's completed proposal, the matter will be given further consideration.
