Question:266 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will approve an application for extension of a school transport service to facilitate a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [32167/01]
Written Answers. - School Transport.
The medical evidence submitted by the Deputy was forwarded to my Department's medical adviser, who determined that the pupil's condition would not prevent him from making his own way to a pick-up point.
As the pupil has a level of service within the guidelines, it is not open to my Department to provide an extension of service as requested.
