Architectural planning for the provision of an extension to Dunkeerin national school is under way. At this stage it is not possible to say when the project will go on site.

Architectural planning in respect of a building project at Rathpeacon national school is nearing completion. At this stage it is not possible to say when the project will go on site.

Question:289 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Education and Science the number of schools in Cork city and county which had been given approval for renovations and had the approval withdrawn; and the number of such schools which have been restored to their original position of approval. [32336/01]
I am not aware of my Department's building unit having progressed any school renovation projects in Cork city or county in the manner described by the Deputy.
If the Deputy has any queries regarding specific projects in Cork city or county I will be happy to obtain the information for him.
