297 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Education and Science the projects in the national development plan for which funding has been provided as part of the 2002 Abridged Estimates or announced in the Budget Statement; the level of funding provided; the nature of the works; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The capital allocation in respect of first, second and third level building projects for 2002 is 543.66 million.

Decisions on the projects to proceed to construction will be taken in the light of these allocations. My Department will be in contact with the relevant schools and institutions as soon as possible.
