50 Mr. McDowell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the progress made by the Garda investigation into the financial activities of a number of groups suspected of having links to the Bin Laden organisation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32085/01]

While I can confirm that the Garda bureau of fraud investigation is conducting investigations into a number of groups suspected of having links with the Bin Laden organisation, the Deputy will be aware that it is not the practice to comment on the progression of such investigations.
