32 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will provide funding in response to an application with his Department for special additional home tuition to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2851/02]
An application for home tuition for the pupil in question was received in my Department on 10 January 2002. I am pleased to advise the Deputy that my Department has now approved an allocation of four hours home tuition per week for the child in question for the remainder of the current school year. The situation will be reviewed at that stage.
Notification of this allocation will issue to the child's family shortly.
