Question:191 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of an application for an EU farm retirement pension. [3540/02]
Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Scheme.
The application from the person named was in fact received in my Department on 10 October 2001. It was approved for payment on 15 December 2001 at the rate of €12,075.12 per annum and the pension is backdated to the date the application was received. The first monthly payment, including arrears, issued in the last week of January 2002.
