Question:

133 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will fund treatment for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [3717/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services for people living in Kilkenny rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer at the board to investigate the matter raised and reply to the Deputy directly.

Question:

134 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine a case relating to the outstanding payment of subvention from the Mid-Western Health Board to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; if his attention has been drawn to the considerable time delay in the payment of this amount; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3718/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in County Limerick rests with the Mid-Western Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
