177 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when an application by a person (details supplied) in County Wicklow to the Land Registry will be processed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3696/02]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49, that is acquisition of title by virtue of long possession, of the Registration of Title Act, 1964, which was lodged on 12 February 1999. Dealing No. D1999KW001566Y refers. I am further informed that a final letter has been sent to an interested party and if no objections are received within one month the case will proceed towards registration.
