Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Ivor Callely

Question:

84 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the progress of the study at the Bull Island, County Dublin, which his Department assisted with grant-aid in sea bed levels; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3780/02]

During the period from 2000 to 2001, I provided grant aid of £83,343.00, €105,823.78, to Dublin City Council towards the total cost of £111,124.00, €141,098.37, for the Bull Island study. Dublin City Council engaged consultants to prepare the report on the Bull Island causeway. I understand from the city council that the report is now complete and is being prepared for printing. A copy of the report is to be forwarded to my Department when available.

Question No. 85 answered with Question No. 83.
