Question:120 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development his plans to remove the area aid section of his Department from Hume House, Dublin, to the Michael Davitt House complex, Department of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Development, Castlebar, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 119 and 120 together.
There are currently 59 full time and three job sharing staff employed in the area aid section. Consideration is being given to the possibility of moving the section from Dublin to Castlebar, but no final decision has been taken.
