Written Answers. - Legislative Programme.
My Department has two Bills on the Government's legislative programme, published on 29 January 2002. The heads of the proposed Land Bill had been approved by Government in 2001, but arising from the consideration of additional proposals for inclusion in the proposed Bill, a further memorandum for Government is being prepared. It is anticipated that the Land Bill will be published during 2002: The heads of the Veterinary Medicines Bill have been agreed by the Government and the text is currently being drafted. It is anticipated that it will be published during 2002.
