The fifth year payment issued to the person named on 14 January 2002. His contract is now complete and no further payments are due to him.

Question:164 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the reason for the delay in payment of area aid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue. [4225/02]
The person named included two parcels on his area aid application on which there was an overlap with the parcels of another herdowner. Both herdowners were contacted about this by my Department and the overlap is being resolved in favour of the person named. His arable aid payments will issue as soon as possible.
