Written Answers. - Urban Renewal Schemes.
Kilkenny County Council forwarded a strategic plan to my Department in 2001 which outlined the towns and villages to be assisted under the urban and village renewal measure of the southern and eastern regional operational programme 2000-06. Approval for the schemes contained within County Kilkenny's strategic plan was granted in 2001. Work commenced in 2001 and further allocations of funding will be made to Kilkenny County Council in relation to 2002. This allocation will be made as soon as possible.
