322 Ms O. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government his plans to legislate for compulsory undergrounding of cables which are highly intrusive on the landscape in both urban and rural areas. [4837/02]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 301 and 322 together.
There are no proposals for mandatory undergrounding of new cabling or of cables generally.
