Vol. 548 No. 2

Written Answers. - Residency Permits.

Brian Hayes

Question:

376 Mr. B. Hayes asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will make a decision regarding an application for a green card from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24; if all necessary documentation from this person has been sent to his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4755/02]

The person in question has applied for permission to remain in the State on the basis that he is residing here with his Irish national spouse. My Department wrote to the applicant on 28 January 2002 requesting additional documentation in order to process his application. Upon receipt of this documentation, the application will be considered further.
