94 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she has convened the Economic Working Group to discuss economic opportunities for the traveller community; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4704/02]
My Department wrote to the Traveller representative organisations on 14 January suggesting a meeting to consider the various economic issues of interest which fall within the responsibilities of the Department. The outcome of this discussion should help to clarify which issues can best be addressed on a bilateral basis and those which might benefit from wider representation.
