Question:101 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if a lifeboat will be provided to a coastguard unit (details supplied) in County Mayo. [4132/02]

I am informed by the Director of the Irish Coast Guard that a boat for the Achill Coast Guard Unit is currently being prepared and that a storage location has been agreed. I understand that it is hoped to place the boat in Achill within the next month.
