Question:

177 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if funding will be provided in 2002 for the provision of a sewage system in Rooskey, County Leitrim. [5208/02]

The Leitrim town and village sewerage scheme, which includes Rooskey, is included in my Department's water services investment programme 2000-02, as a scheme to be advanced through planning. A preliminary report for the scheme has recently been received in my Department from Leitrim County Council and is under examination.

178 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the additional works and extensions to the Westport sewerage scheme, Westport, County Mayo, proposed in the overall estimated cost of ?313,666 as submitted and approved by his Department in January 2002; the details of costings and the locations of each additional works; the extension approved; the nature of the works applied for; and the works which were approved. [5210/02]

The information requested is being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
