Question:194 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Finance if a company (details supplied) has done consultancy work for the Government on public private partnerships; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4760/02]
Written Answers. - Public Private Partnerships.
The Department of Public Enterprise appointed the consultancy company named, together with Steer Davis Gleave, in December 1998 to examine the feasibility of pursuing a public private partnership approach to the Dublin light rail project. The study was completed in April 1999 and a copy of the executive summary can be obtained from the Department of Public Enterprise PPP unit. I am not aware of any other consultancies awarded to this company in the field of public private partnerships.
