I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann resolves that section 17A (inserted by section 2 of the Diseases of Animals (Amendment) Act, 2001, (No. 3 of 2001)) of the Diseases of Animals Act, 1966, (No. 6 of 1966) shall continue in force for the period ending on 8th March, 2003, be referred to the Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in accordance with paragraph (2)(a)(v) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which shall, not later than 7th March, 2002, send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 79B, and Standing Order 79A(2) shall accordingly apply.
