Question:82 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when payment will issue for a suckler cow premium for 2001 to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal. [6190/02]

The person named applied for premium for six cows and one heifer under the 2001 suckler cow premium scheme. In processing the application it was found that one animal tag number EEA520389 was disposed of inside the six months retention period and was not replaced as required under the terms and con ditions of the scheme. The applicant was contacted regarding this matter and later submitted details of a replacement animal. This animal tag number 161516110032 is a heifer and as the herdowner has already used up his 20% heifer allowance the animal cannot be accepted as a suitable replacement. A formal notification regarding this matter has issued to the person named and he has been advised that his case can be reviewed on submission of any relevant new evidence or documentation.
