Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Healy – the need for the appointment of community gardaí in the towns of Clonmel, Tipperary town and Carrick-on-Suir; (2) Deputy Broughan – the need to establish a national housing authority; (3) Deputy Sargent – the need to increase Garda foot patrols and other crime prevention measures such as CCTV cameras in main streets; (4) Deputy Connaughton – the new community hospital for Tuam, County Galway; (5) Deputy Enright – to immediately provide four new classrooms and appropriate ancillary accommodation at Lumcloon national school which is currently at stage three of the architectural planning process and to proceed with the project at the earliest possible date to provide the necessary accommodation urgently required at Lumcloon national school; (6) Deputy Ulick Burke – the need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development to implement the on-farm valuation of reactor animals as agreed with the farming organisations under the PPF.

The matters raised by Deputies Ulick Burke, Connaughton, Broughan and Sargent have been selected for discussion.
