221 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the position regarding an appli cation by a person (details supplied) in County Carlow for a 24 hour report on this person's blood pressure at the district hospital, Carlow; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6411/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in Carlow rests with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has therefore asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
