252 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children the estimated number of pregnant women who may have indicated suicidal tendencies to their medical practitioners and consultants which have been reported in each of the past ten years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6659/02]

My Department does not collect statistics in relation to this matter and any such occurrences would be a confidential matter between the patients and doctors concerned.
