Question:382 Mr. Noonan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation his plans to travel abroad for St. Patrick's Day celebrations; the venues to be visited; the planned dates of travel; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6705/02]
I propose to take Questions Nos. 379 and 382 together.
As part of the Government's agreed official representation at St. Patrick's Day festivities abroad, I plan to travel to Toronto, Canada on Friday, 15 March 2002 and to return to Ireland on Monday, 18 March 2002. As the itinerary has not yet been finalised, it is not possible at this stage to give information regarding official engagements.
