Question:

190 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Health and Children if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11 will receive an earlier consultant's appointment. [7042/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services to persons living in County Dublin rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and to reply to her directly.

Question:

191 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason an admission to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on 20 February 2002 was cancelled for a third time for a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and when this person will be admitted for an operation. [7094/02]

Responsibility for the provision of hospital services to residents County Louth rests with the North Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
