77 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the costs of the works carried out in Dunmore East in the area known as the Shanooan, in December 2000 to September 2001; and the figure for the overall work carried out in Dunmore East involving the kittiwake habitats in the general harbour area. [7092/02]

From December 2000 to September 2001, inclusive, expenditure amounting to €301,450.73, £237,411.75, was incurred by my Department on cliff stabilisation works at Shanoon, Dunmore East, County Waterford.

The total expenditure for the period December 2000 to September 2001, inclusive, incurred by my Department, on work carried out in Dunmore East, involving the kittiwake habitats in the general harbour area, is €32,560.36, £25,643.37.
