I move:
That the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the following proposals:–
that the proposal that Dáil Éireann approve the terms of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context, done at Espoo, Finland, on 25th February, 1991, copies which were laid before the Dáil on 27th June, 2001;
that Dáil Éireann approves the ratification of the European Charter of Local Self-Government, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 27th February, 2002;
that Dáil Éireann approves the terms of the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, copies of which were laid before Dáil Éireann on 27th February, 2002;
be referred to the Select Committee on Environment and Local Government, in accordance with paragraph (1)(a)(iii) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which shall, not later than 20th March, 2002, send a message to the Dáil in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 79B and Standing Order 79A(2) shall accordingly apply.
