81 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance the position regarding negotiations for purchase by the Office of Public Works of a site for a school (details supplied); if negotiations have been completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7261/02]
The Commissioners of Public Works act as agent on behalf of the Department of Education and Science in the acquisition of sites for new school facilities. Negotiations for the acquisition of a site for Gaelscoil Cholmcille are ongoing. Upon their completion, a report of the outcome of the negotiations will be forwarded to the Department for its consideration.
