342 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will request the Northern Area Health Board to meet the increased costs of ?1,397 per month to ?2,202 per month for nursing home fees for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3. [8148/02]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for the provision of health services in Dublin rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority to examine the case mentioned by the Deputy and respond to him directly.
