358 Mr. B. Hayes asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will consider funding the Irish Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases who intend to travel to the next world conference for this disease in Paris from 20 to 23 June 2002; if his Department has received a letter of application from the group concerned; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

My Department has recently received correspondence regarding funding from the Irish Society for Mucopolysaccharidoses Diseases. I have now forwarded a national lottery application form to this organisation and consideration will be given to its request on receipt of this completed form.
