Vol. 550 No. 2

Written Answers. - Health Services.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

360 Mr. N. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Health and Children if arrangements will be made to have a special type of bed made available to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [8265/02]

The provision of dressings and certain aids and appliances such as special beds to medical card holders is a matter for the relevant health board or hospital. I have therefore asked the chief executive officer of the Southern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy.
