I will very shortly publish details of a scheme of grant assistance for waste recovery infrastructure. This assistance will primarily support materials recycling and biological treatment of wastes. Projects will be selected for assistance having regard, among other things, to their contribution to the achievement of waste recovery targets and their compatibility with local authority waste management plans.
As invitations for assistance have not yet been sought, I am not in a position to say when any particular project will be approved. No application has been made by the person in question in this instance.
