Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

644 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 1019 of 3 October 2001, the progress which has been made in relation to proposed remedial works at a school (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8119/02]

My Department has written to the school authorities authorising the appointment of a consultant engineer in order to prepare tender documentation for urgent remedial works at the school referred to by the Deputy. It is not possible at this stage to say when works will commence.
