653 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for Education and Science if there is an application in his Department to extend or renovate Tiernasligo National School, Clonmany, County Donegal; the nature of the works planned; and when it is expected that work will commence on the project. [8189/02]

Minister for Education and Science (Dr. Woods):

My Department expects to be in a position during this year to give detailed consideration to an application from the authorities of Tiernasligo national school for grant-aid towards improved accommodation at the school.
