283 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance the amount expended by the Information Society on the Revenue on-line service, Reach, Oasis and Basis projects in each of the years from 1996 to 2001. [8466/02]

The amounts expended under the Information Society Fund on the Revenue on-line service, Reach, Oasis and Basis projects are detailed below. These projects represent key elements of the strategy for electronic Government set out in the Government's Action Plan for the Information Society published in 1999. Implementation of the Revenue on-line service commenced in 1999 followed by Reach, Oasis and Basis in 2000. The Information Society fund is managed by the Department of Finance.
