Question:

353 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if a medical card can be renewed for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny. [8508/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 324, 352 and 353 together.

Responsibility for the determination of eligibility for medical cards in these three cases rests with the chief executive officer of the SouthEastern Health Board. I have referred the matters to him for investigation and asked that he reply directly to the Deputy.
