Vol. 550 No. 4

Written Answers. - Child Care Services.

John Bruton

Question:

450 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he is in a position to reply to persons (details supplied) in County Meath who asked him to provide respite care for their child, currently living in the North-Eastern Health Board area, as this person is recovering from a series of heart operations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9458/02]

The North-Eastern Health Board, which has responsibility for the provision of health services for persons in the Meath are, has been providing support for the child in question and her family. My Department has requested information from the board in relation to this matter as a matter of urgency and I will forward it to the Deputy as soon as it becomes available to me.
