762 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science if a person (details supplied) in County Kildare can continue to use a laptop provided under the IT 2000 scheme in the secondary school; and, if not, if a new laptop will be provided prior to the opening of the school year in September 2002. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the laptop computer allocated to the pupil in question while attending primary school will continue to be available to him following his transfer to second level.
