782 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Education and Science when his Department will appoint a resource teacher to cater for pupils who are in need of special attention at Ballydehob No. 1 and No. 2 national schools, Kilcoe national school and Lisheen national school, County Cork. [8818/02]

My Department is currently considering an application for resource teacher support from the schools mentioned by the Deputy.

My officials will be in contact with the school authorities in relation to this matter as soon as possible.
