789 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason a person (details supplied) in County Sligo is not in receipt of payment in view of his accrued teaching experience. [8831/02]

800 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department will now pay arrears of wages to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo. [8891/02]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 789 and 800 together.

The teacher referred to by the Deputies applied to my Department to have his previous teaching experience considered for incremental credit purposes. His application is being considered as a matter of urgency and my Department will contact him shortly.

790 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in paying a salary due to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of this person's incremental payments in accordance with years of experience. [8832/02]

The person referred to by the Deputy has made an application to my Department to have previous teaching experience considered for incremental credit purposes. This application is being considered as a matter of urgency. My Department will be in contact with the person in question shortly in relation to the matter.
