317 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if his Department will arrange care for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if their general practitioner request for this type of care for this person will be examined immediately. [10214/02]

Responsibility for the provision of health services in the Kilkenny area rests, in the first instance, with the South-Eastern Health Board. My Department has, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the board to examine the issue raised and reply direct to the Deputy.
