Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science his views on whether the provision for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 is appropriate; if an examination of these needs can be undertaken with a view to allowing this person continue in the environment where he has been getting appropriate care; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 480, 500 and 528 together.

I have noted the concerns to which the Deputies refer. I have asked my Department to investigate the issue as a matter of urgency with a view to ensuring the person in question continues to receive appropriate support services.
