553 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the delay in organising a reassessment for a person (details supplied) in County Kildare to enable this person to attend the special resource teaching classes in their school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The NEPS psychologist dealing with this case contacted the named child's parents on 20 March 2002 to clarify the procedures involved in obtaining additional resources for the child. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the process for providing for the identified needs of the child is being dealt with currently.
