162 Mr. S. Ryan asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will report on the 12 recommendations contained in the Inspector of Mental Hospitals Report, 2000, in respect of St. Ita's Hospital, Portrane, County Dublin. [10362/02]

Minister for Health and Children (Mr. Martin):

Responsibility for this matter rests with the Eastern Regional Health Authority. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply to him directly.
