Question:196 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the position regarding the proposed sewerage scheme for Ardara. [10635/02]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
This scheme has been approved for funding under the rural towns and villages initiative, at an estimated cost of €3.56 million. I approved contract documents for the civil works element of the scheme in January 2002 and it is now a matter for Donegal County Council to advance these works to tender stage.
Contract documents for the mechanical and electrical element of the scheme are currently under consideration in my Department and will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
